Answers to what people ask most
What is PTE Academic?
A computer-based English test run by Pearson. It is widely accepted for immigration, study and work visas in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK. Because scoring is automated, results come back quickly.
What makes PTE worth choosing?
Automated scoring keeps the standard consistent, and results usually arrive in 1-2 days. Speaking is recorded into a microphone rather than performed for an examiner, which many find less stressful. Test dates run year-round, so scheduling is easier.
Is the AI scoring close to the real test?
We score criterion by criterion following the actual PTE rubric, and show the reasoning behind the number rather than the number alone. That said, AI predicted scores are a study reference and do not guarantee your actual result.
Can I practise on the free plan?
The free plan gives you three AI evaluations a day, plus core question practice and vocabulary study. Pro removes the daily limit.
Do these questions appear on the real test?
We publish prediction questions every week. Questions with a recorded exam history come first in your study order, so you practise against recent trends.
Does it work on mobile?
It runs in a mobile browser as it is. For Speaking practice we recommend a quiet room and a microphone.
Will I be charged automatically?
There is no auto-renewal. When your term ends you return to the free plan, and you can purchase again whenever you like.
Can I get a refund?
Within 7 days of payment we deduct only the days you used at list price and refund the rest with no penalty. After 7 days we apply the same deduction and refund 90% of the remainder (10% is a cancellation fee). Once a PTE test fee discount code has been issued or viewed, however, its value drops sharply and the purchase is no longer refundable.
